La semana pasada me acerqué a ver la primera exposición en España, de unos de los fotógrafos más innovadores del siglo XX, Guy Bourdin (1928-1991). En la Sala del Canal de Isabel II podréis disfrutar de una breve selección de 75 fotografías, en las que veréis sus mejores trabajos; muchos de ellos junto con la colaboración de la modelo Nicolle Meyer.
Bourdin supo crear un lenguaje nuevo, con historias donde las mujeres eran las protagonistas en un mundo lleno de color, con un toque sórdido y frívolo; "mujeres carentes de pasado y de futuro".

Vemos en sus fotografías un sólo personaje, que represeta un momento como parte de un todo en la instantánea; referencias constanates a las vanguardias y en especial al surrealismo.

In the Room of the Channel of Isabel II you will be able to enjoy a brief selection of 75 photographies, in which you will see his better works; many of them together with the collaboration of the model Nicolle Meyer.
Bourdin could create a new language, with histories where the women were the protagonists in a world full of color, with a sordid and frivolous touch; " women lacking in past and in future ".
We see in his photographies only one character, that represent a moment like part of everything; references of the forefronts and especially to the surrealism.
